THE APC CHANGE

THE APC CHANGE
The current Apc government in Nigeria promised Nigerians a lot during their heated campaign last year. Mr. President assumed office without ministers of the federal republic of Nigeria. He wasn’t having ministers because most of the ministerial nominees rejected the appointment. But the Apc could not tell Nigerians the truth concerning the delay in appointing ministers.
The Apc promised to pay unemployed graduates N5,000 during their campaign till this moment they are unable to get the figures of the unemployed graduates in Nigeria. “To dare is to do” Nigerians are waiting for the fulfillment of your campaign promises.
Also, the Apc government promised to employ five hundred thousand graduate teachers. Recently Vice President Yemi Osibanjo said the figures have been reduced to two hundred thousand. Despite the reduction the government is still silent about it. For some time I have not been hearing the Sai Baba song anymore. Is it that the song has expired? Oh now I remember most of the singers are now hungry and don’t have enough energy to sing.
The Apc government ordered the Nigerian Police to recruit ten thousand police men and women into the officer cadre. First their website crashed due to heavy traffic into the site by job applicants. Second after the rigorous screening exercise the government kept quiet. If Nigerians complain they will say no money to pay the police officers if recruited. But they have enough money to pay for the secret employment they did in the Nigerian Prison Service and Immigration Service. Right now, Honourable members of the Federal House of Representatives and Senators of the Federal Republic of Nigeria now buy jobs for their constituents and the Apc government is fighting corruption. What a shame!
The Apc government could not sustain the Amnesty programme initiated by late president Umar Yar Adua. The aggrieved militants went to back to the creeks and continued the bombing of oil installations; Mr. President is using harsh words, and believe military action will curb the situation. The militants are equal to the task because they have sophisticated weapons to fight the Nigerian military.
Recently 21 chibok girls were released by Boko Haram insurgents. The Apc government paid ransom for their release but denied the girls were released as a result of continued negotiations and prayers of Nigerians. Story for the gods! Since the Apc came into power the Naira has being witnessing a free fall during their campaign they promised Nigerians N1 =1$. Who are you deceiving? Righteous Apc politicians. The Apc government negotiated a currency swap with China to no avail, at the moment inflation is 18.3%.The average Nigerian can no longer afford ordinary Garri popularly known as white sand by boarding students. The government failed woefully in controlling the prices of goods and services. God bless Nigeria

ANTIBIOTICS

ANTIBIOTICS
Antibiotics are no longer as effective as they used to be. When you take too many antibiotics or do not take them correctly, you can create “super bug”. These bacteria are known as being “resistant”. This means that antibiotics cannot kill the bacteria. These resistant bacteria can spread and infect people around us.
MRSAC  (methicillin –resistant staphylococcus aureus). The MRSA is a good example of “super bug” that is killing people. These bacteria are able to fight off antibiotics because they have built up a resistance by being exposed to low levels of antibiotics over a long period of time. They can even multiply to produce more bacteria that will not respond to antibiotics.
Everyday Exposure to Antibiotics
Antibiotics are prescription medicines. No one should take antibiotics without the approval of a medical professional. However, consumers are taking small amounts of antibiotics everyday without realizing it.
Antibiotics in Meat
We must remember that antibiotics are not just used by people. They are mixed with food to feed livestock. In the early 1950’s farmers discovered that adding antibiotics in animals’ foods made the animals grow bigger and faster. Many studies confirmed that antibiotics fed to livestock show up in the meat. And then we eat that meat.
Antibiotics in Vegetables
Antibiotics can also be found in vegetables and fruits. The U.S department of Agriculture funded a study to test this. Scientist took manure from animals that were given antibiotics. They grew different plants in the manure and then tested its leaves. What they found was alarming.
1. The antibiotics was present in fruits, vegetables as well as the vegetable leaves.
2. The amount of antibiotics in the plant was directly related to the amount in the soil
3. The plants absorbed antibiotics in the soil as it grew.
4. Crops that grow underground might absorb even more antibiotics from the soil. Examples of such crops include potatoes and carrots.

wrong prayers

Wrong Prayers James 4:2-3
“ Ye have not ,because ye ask not. Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss”
The Greek word for “amiss” is kakos which describes something that is bad or wrong. As James uses it in this verse, it depicts a person who is asking wrongly, badly or inappropriately. You could say that this person is simply not hitting the mark in this request. The person is asking God to do something that is not in agreement with His word. Therefore regardless of how long or how passionately the person asks, God will not answer his request with a positive answer because it is not in agreement with the word, or perhaps this person is asking for the right thing, but because he is so fretful and filled with fear and anxiety, he doesn’t ask in faith. Rather than praying from a position of faith, he cries out to the Lord in fear and anxiety. But fear doesn’t move God-faith does. Hence, although this person may be asking for the right thing, he is asking from a wrong Spirit. Thus, he is asking badly or inappropriately. This means what we ask and how we ask are both of vital importance if we are going to get our prayers answered!
The success of your prayer life is up to you, friend, so don’t ask “amiss” when you pray. Make sure you are asking correctly and in an appropriate spirit of faith. As you learn to pray in line with God’s word from a heart filled with faith, the answers you seek will manifest in your life more quickly and more fully than ever before!
Holy Spirit, I ask you to help me ask correctly and pray appropriately from this moment forward. Whenever I start praying wrongly or out of a wrong spirit. Please stop me. I ask you to correct me and teach me how to pray in line with your word from a heart of faith! I pray this in Jesus’ name!
1 John 5:14 says, “And this is the confidence we have in Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, he heareth us.” The word “confidence” is the Greek word Parresia. It describes confidence, boldness, or assurance. It pictures a person so confident that when he speaks. He knows what he is saying is correct or appropriate; therefore, he becomes very bold. In the context of prayer, this word presents the picture of a believer who is so confident he is right in what he is asking that he asks unashamedly and confidently.
1 John 5:14 guarantees that if you ask anything in agreement with His will, God will hear you, in fact, verse 1 goes on to promise you, “And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him”.
                MY CONFESSIONS FOR TODAY
I confess that God’s word is my guide to help me ask correctly when I pray. I declare that I am motivated by faith and not by fear, dread or anxiety when I pray. Because I ask according to God’s will, He hears me when I pray. Because He hears me, I know that I have the petitions I ask of Him. God acts promptly to answer my prayers because I ask with my heart filled with faith in accordance with His will. Because I make sure that what I pray is correct and how I pray is appropriate, I am receiving more and more results from my prayers all the time! I declare this by faith in Jesus’ name!
