The Federal Government pleaded with the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) on Tuesday to suspend their ongoing strike in the interest of the nation, and the students. Patients on admission and those who cater for them on Tuesday protest the incidents of robbery and attempted rape at the Edo Central Hospital located along Sapele road in Benin. The patients protested round the hospital appealed to the management to provide security for their safety. Police has arrested an 18-year old girl for murdering a 15-year-old boy. The boy, Jermaine Goupall was stabbed to death in Thornton Heath, South London, last Tuesday.
